He is currently responsible for the commercial sales of Apache’s production across the U.S. and Canada and all integrated processes supporting these sales. This would include producer services, scheduling, midstream, transportation, gas processing and contract administration. He joined Apache in 1999, holding positions of increasing responsibility within the accounting organization, contributing significantly to business process improvement, business development coordination, system integration, and the development of Apache's future leaders. Prior to his current role he was Controller for the North America operations overseeing the entire accounting organization in the U.S. and Canada, including operations accounting, corporate financial reporting, SEC reporting and systems integration and support groups. He has been involved in and led numerous system implementation projects during his career including SAP, Endur, Basware, TOW, Prism, and Entero.
Mark earned accounting and management degrees from Southeast Missouri State University and is a certified public accountant with 27 years of industry experience, including work at Sonat Exploration Co. and Texas Oil and Gas.
