BHP Billiton Chairman Jac Nasser today announced the appointment of Pat Davies to
the BHP Billiton Board as an independent non-executive director, effective June 1.

Continental Resources, Inc. today announced a transition in senior management. Jeff Hume, president and chief operating officer, will assume the role of vice chairman of strategic growth initiatives, and Rick Bott will succeed Hume as president and chief operating officer.  The leadership changes will be effective June 4.

Frisco, Texas-based Comstock Resources, Inc. announced May 9 the promotion of Mark A. Williams to COO. Williams, who has been with Comstock since 1996 and until his promotion served as vice president of operations, will oversee the company's exploration, production and drilling operations.

TMK IPSCO, the North American division of global pipe manufacturer TMK, has appointed Dave Mitch to the position of senior vice president and chief operating officer, based at the company’s headquarters in Downers Grove, Ill.  In this newly-created role, Mitch will be responsible for all manufacturing, supply chain and quality functions within TMK IPSCO.
