Denver-based Kodiak Oil & Gas Corp is an emerging independent energy exploration and development company with its primary focus on exploring, developing, and producing hydrocarbons from oil and gas projects on the U.S. Rocky Mountain region. Specifically, it operates in the Vermillion Basin of the Greater Green River Basin and the Williston Basin of North Dakota and Montana. Its stock trades on the American Stock Exchange under the symbol: KOG.

Kodiak closes exchange offering for senior notes

Kodiak Oil & Gas Corp. has completed its offers to exchange any and all of its $350 million outstanding principal amount of 5.50% senior notes due 2021 for an equal amount of new 5.50% senior notes due 2021, and to exchange any and all of its $400 million outstanding principal amount of 5.50% senior notes due 2022 for an equal amount of new 5.50% senior notes due 2022.
