Double Eagle Petroleum Co. is a growing independent exploration and production company with our focus in the Rocky Mountain region. Our major interests are in the Greater Green River Basin of southwestern Wyoming, which currently produces nearly 4 Bcfe of gas each day (approximately 7MMcfe/d net to Double Eagle), making it the second largest producing basin in the Rockies. Double Eagle’s position in the basin includes nearly 72,000 net acres, mostly in our core areas of the Atlantic Rim and the Pinedale Anticline. An aggressive drilling program is scheduled in both core areas over the next several years.

We pride ourselves on being a low cost developer of natural gas, with finding costs averaging less than $1/Mcfe over the last 5 calendar years.
