Brownstone Ventures Inc., a Canadian-based, energy-focused investment company with interests in oil and gas assets around the world, has appointed Gerry Feldman as CFO.
He succeeds Goldberg as CFO.
Until joining the company, Feldman was a partner of Schwartz Levitsky Feldman LLP. Feldman also served and continues to serve as a director of other public and private companies.
Along with his appointment, the board has approved the grant of 200,000 stock options, exercisable at $0.75 per share for a term of up to five years. The options shall vest quarterly over a period of 18 months.
The company also elected Kevin O’Connor to its board of directors. He has also been appointed as a member of the company’s audit committee.
O’Connor is the co-founder and a partner of Spinnaker Capital Markets Inc., a Toronto-based capital markets advisory firm. Prior to founding Spinnaker, he co-founded Genoa Management Ltd., and served as vice president of investor relations for Pendaries Petroleum Ltd., and president and CEO of White Pine Resources Inc.
An aggregate of 50,000 stock options were granted to O’Connor, each exercisable under the same terms as those approved for Feldman.
