ATP closes $1.05B senior term loan; adds $600M asset sale facility
ATP Oil & Gas Corp. has closed a new senior secured term loan facility.
T. Paul Bulmahn, chairman and CEO of ATP, stated, "The new term facility provides two very important pieces of capital for ATP. First, it puts in place a truly long-term, six-year financing of $1.05 billion at rates that are extremely competitive in today's market. This facility will provide ATP the ability to continue to execute its plans for development and acquisitions for the next several years.

KBR names DeNicola senior VP, CFO
KBR has named T. Kevin DeNicola as the company's senior vice president and CFO. DeNicola's responsibilities will include oversight of KBR's treasury, accounting and finance, investor relations, tax and internal audit operations.
DeNicola served recently as CFO at Houston-based Lyondell Chemical Co. DeNicola holds an MBA from Rice University and a master's degree from the University of Virginia.

ARKeX raises $30M venture funding
Cambridge, UK-based ARKeX, a provider of geophysical imaging technology, has raised $30 million in a deal that marks the largest venture capital round in its sector for five years.
Kitty Hall, chief executive of ARKeX commented, "This investment means we can establish our services in new regions and accelerate the rollout of our EGG systems to meet increasing demand."

Targa Resources acquires additional interests in Venice Energy Services
Targa Resources Inc. has entered into an agreement with Chevron Corp.'s subsidiaries, Chevron USA Inc. and Venice Gathering Co., for the purchase of their combined approximately 54% ownership interests in Venice Energy Services Co. LLC (VESCO).
Targa currently owns roughly 23%, and is the operator of VESCO. Closing is anticipated to occur in the third quarter of 2008.
