    Parsley Energy joins Russell indexes

    Parsley Energy Inc.

    Parsley Energy Inc. (NYSE: PE) has been added to the broad market Russell 3000, small-cap Russell 2000, and Russell Global indexes, along with appropriate style, sector, and country indexes, effective after the market close on June 27, in association with Russell Investments’ annual reconstitution of its comprehensive set of US and global equity indexes.

    Approximately $5.2 trillion in assets are benchmarked to Russell indexes, which are widely used by investment managers and institutional investors for index funds and as benchmarks for active investment strategies. Annual reconstitution of Russell’s US indexes captures the 4,000 largest US stocks as of the end of May, ranking them by total market capitalization.

    Parsley Energy is an independent oil and natural gas company focused on the acquisition, development, and exploitation of unconventional oil and natural gas reserves in the Permian Basin.
