    Lilis Energy regains NASDAQ compliance

    Lilis Energy Inc.

    Lilis Energy Inc. (Nasdaq:LLEX) has been informed by the NASDAQ Stock Market that, based on the June 11 and 17 filings of the company's Form 10-K for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2013, and Form 10-Q for the period ended March 31, 2014, respectively, that the company complies with the periodic filing requirement of Rule 5250(c)(1).

    Lilis Energy is a Denver-based independent oil and gas exploration and production company that operates in the Denver-Julesburg Basin. The company’s near-term E&P focus is to grow reserves and production in its Greater Wattenberg field leasehold targeting the Niobrara benches and Codell sandstone.

    Southwestern Energy Co., through its wholly owned subsidiary Southwestern Energy Production Co., has signed an agreement to purchase 312,000 net acres in northwest Colorado targeting crude oil, natural gas liquids, and natural gas contained in the Niobrara formation from Quicksilver Resources Inc. and SWEPI LP, a wholly owned subsidiary of Royal Dutch Shell plc for $180 million.
