    Krewe Energy acquires additional interest in Lake Long field

    Krewe Energy LLC

    Krewe Energy LLC, a privately held oil and gas company based in Covington, Louisiana, has completed the acquisition of 100% of both BLG Resources LLC and PDP Energy LP’s interest in the Lake Long field located in Lafourche Parish, Louisiana.

    The Lake Long field is a South Louisiana legacy property that has been actively producing since 1935. Krewe now controls approximately 1,700 gross acres within the field, and it is operated by Krewe’s operating entity, S2 Energy Operating LLC.

    The acquisition of the additional interest in the field had an effective date of Dec. 1, 2013. Krewe Energy continues to be focused on its growth and acquisition of mature legacy type assets within the South Louisiana oil and gas trend.
