BreitBurn Energy Partners close Permian acquisitions

BreitBurn Energy Partners LP

BreitBurn Energy Partners LP (NASDAQ:BBEP) has completed its acquisition of oil and natural gas properties in the Permian Basin in Texas from CrownRock LP for approximately $282 million.

The Partnership has also completed acquisitions of additional interests in certain of the acquired assets from other sellers for another $20 million.

Los Angeles, CA-based upstream oil and gas partnership BreitBurn Energy Partners LP (BBEP) has agreed to purchase interests in the Postle and North East Hardesty oil fields, along with associated midstream assets, from Whiting Oil and Gas Corp., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Whiting Petroleum Corp., for approximately $860 million.
