Simmons & Company International Limited, a financial advisory firm for the energy industry, announced Jan. 29 the sale of Willbros subsidiary The Oman Construction Company LLC (TOCO) to Interserve Plc and Interserve’s Omani partner.

Simmons acted as corporate finance advisor to Willbros Group Inc., in the sale of its subsidiary. The acquisition will provide Interserve’s Construction division with an additional footprint in the Middle East.

Willbros Group Inc., is an independent contractor serving the oil, gas, power, refining, and petrochemical industries, providing engineering, construction, turnaround, maintenance, life-cycle extension services, and facilities development and operations services to industry and government entities worldwide.

The Oman Construction Company LLC, established in 1965, provides oilfield maintenance, pipeline construction and maintenance, and rig-moving services in Oman.

Interserve Plc is an international infrastructure support service and construction group.
