Technology solutions provider FMC Technologies prices $800M of senior notes

Energy industry technology solutions provider FMC Technologies Inc. has priced a public offering of $800 million of senior unsecured notes composed of $300 million aggregate principal amount of 2.00% senior notes due 2017 and $500 million aggregate principal amount of 3.45% senior notes due 2022. 

The sale of the senior notes is expected to settle on September 21, 2012, subject to customary closing conditions.  FMC Technologies intends to use the net proceeds from the offering to repay outstanding commercial paper and indebtedness under its revolving credit facility.

JP Morgan Securities LLC and Wells Fargo Securities, LLC will act as joint book-running managers for the offering.
