HOUSTON, TX and NEW ORLEANS, LA – Independent exploration and production company Saratoga Resources Inc. (OTCBB: SROE) has resumed production from its Little Bay Field in Saint Mary Parish, Louisiana with initial production levels of 335 barrels of oil per day and 3.2 million cubic feet of gas per day.
The production follows the completion of a workover on the A0311 #1 well and reactivation of the associated gas sales pipeline.
The Little Bay Field had been shut-in since mid-2009 due to down stream problems with the third party owned and operated pipeline and gathering system servicing the field.
Principal holdings of the company cover 33,625 gross (32,527 net) acres, mostly held-by-production, located in the transitional coastline and protected in-bay environment on parish and state leases of south Louisiana.
