Senergy has appointed Øystein Roti has been named managing director of Senergy Norway, based in the Stavanger office, to lead the company’s expansion. The company expects the Norway operation to double in size over the next two years.
The founder and CEO of successful Norwegian companies 4Sea Energy and Orocom, Øystein has had a distinguished career in the energy sector spanning more than 20 years. A former vice president of DONG Energy AS, he has also held various international positions with Shell, as well as spending several years as asset manager for Shell E&P Norway AS.
Senergy's CEO James McCallum believes Øystein will be a valuable asset to the company and his knowledge of the Norwegian sector will be fundamental in further driving forward Senergy's business expansion in the region.
"The significant rate of growth in Senergy's Norway operations is largely attributed to our niche and specialist oil and gas services," said James. "It is also in line with Senergy's ambitious target for future global growth, as we focus on increasing our turnover from £80 million (775 million NOK) to £300 million (2900 million NOK) over the next five years.
