NEW YORK – Madison Williams and Co., an integrated capital markets and investment banking firm, has hired Jovan P. Vojvodic as a managing director in its Houston office.

As a senior member in Madison Williams’ Energy Group, Vojvodic’s primary focus will be to grow the firm’s oilfield services banking capability.

Vojvodic joins Madison Williams following a decade at Morgan Stanley, where he most recently served as a managing director covering power and utility clients. While at Morgan Stanley, he focused on merchant energy and renewable energy companies, investor-owned utilities, and selected private equity firms.

Before Morgan Stanley, he was an investment banker at Merrill Lynch. His M&A transaction experience includes several significant deals such as the $48.5 billion acquisition of TXU Energy by a consortium of private equity investors led by KKR and TPG, Constellation Energy’s $4.5 billion nuclear joint venture with EDF and several billion dollars of asset-based transactions.

He also has been involved in numerous capital markets transactions including debt and secondary equity offerings, initial public equity offerings and highly structured commodity monetizations.

Vojvodic graduated from Lehigh University with a bachelor’s degree and has an MBA with Honors from The University of Chicago.
