Geotrace, an independent, integrated, reservoir services company that provides subsurface imaging solutions to the oil and gas industry worldwide, has hired Mark Robinson as area manager Far East.
He will be responsible for seismic processing and reservoir services in the region. Robinson has more than 15 years of technical and management experience from many of the world hydrocarbon producing basins. Previously, he was manager of seismic data processing in Europe, The Caspian, and Russia for WesternGeco. He has also served as manager of reservoir seismic services for Europe, Africa, Russia, and The Caspian with Schlumberger.
Robinson received a bachelor’s degree from the Royal School of Mines, Imperial College, University of London.
