Chesapeake Midstream Partners taps Shiels CFO

Chesapeake Midstream Partners LLC (CMP), the recently formed entity which purchased and operates Chesapeake Energy's Barnett, Permian and Mid-Continent natural gas gathering and treating assets, has hired David C. Shiels to serve as the company's CFO. 

He joins CMP following a 22 year career at General Electric and ConocoPhillips. He will be responsible for leading the financial reporting, analysis and budgeting, in addition to treasury, capital oversight and investor relations functions.

He most recently served as CFO of GE Security Americas. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University.
