Law firm Mayer Brown has hired Dan A. Fleckman as a corporate and securities practice partner in its Houston office. Previously, he was executive vice president, chief legal officer and secretary of Regency Energy Partners. Prior to joining Regency in May 2008, he was a partner in the corporate/securities section of Vinson & Elkins in Houston where he specialized in representing sponsors, issuers and underwriters in public offerings of interests in MLPs and other energy companies as well as merger and acquisition representation of energy industry entities. He has more than 30 years' experience practicing law and is a graduate of the University of Texas School of Law.
